Profile: Daniel joined the plasma physics PhD program in Fall 2022, having received his B.A. in astrophysics from Columbia University. In his free time, Daniel enjoys rock climbing, surfing, and producing music.
Advisor: Carlos Paz-Soldan
Research focus: Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) modeling of scenarios and control for the SPARC tokamak, MHD stability of tokamak plasmas to tearing modes, pedestal scaling and edge physics.
