Freddie Sheehan

Graduate Student

Freddie joined the plasma lab as a PhD student in the Fall of 2023. He graduated with a BS in Chemical Engineering and Physics from Northeastern University in 2018. While at Northeastern he used spectroscopic diagnostic techniques to investigate helicon and inductively coupled plasmas. Before joining Columbia, Freddie was an Electric Propulsion R&D Engineer at Busek, working on developing Hall effect thrusters and RF plasma cathodes.
