Undergraduate Student
Hope is a third year undergraduate at Columbia majoring in mechanical engineering. She plans
to pursue a career in fusion energy or quantum information science technology. In her free time,
Hope enjoys running in Riverside Park, trying new foods, and exploring the city.
Research Focus: Hope is currently working with fellow undergraduates on the assembly and
operation of the pellet ablation experiment under the guidance of Professor Paz-Soldan.
