Undergraduate Student
Shu is a third year undergraduate student at Columbia studying mechanical engineering. He plans to pursue a graduate degree in plasma physics and help advance fusion energy to solve the climate crisis. He is currently helping test planar coils for HTS tapes on the CSX (Columbia Stellarator eXperiment) engineering team. Aside from fusion, Shu enjoys running and working on Columbia’s Formula Racing team.
